Daisy has a BA (Hons) in English literature from Victoria University, a diploma in publishing from Whitireia Polytechnic and twelve years’ experience in the New Zealand publishing industry, in established publishing houses (Steele Roberts and LexisNexis New Zealand) and on a self-employed basis.
Daisy’s areas of expertise are legal publishing and translation into plain English for government departments. She has a particular interest in developmental fiction editing.
India has ten years' editing experience. As a passionate reader, she enjoys working closely with authors of fiction and memoir. She also brings her trained eye to academic writing, cooking and lifestyle books, news journalism, magazine features, legal publications and children's books.
She has a BA in English and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Massey University, and has written for online (Stuff.co.nz), Radio New Zealand, magazines (Kia Ora,Pavement, Rip It Up, Urbis, New Idea, Girlfriend, Living Hawke's Bay), and newspapers (The Wellingtonian, Hawke's Bay Today, Wairarapa Times-Age).
